Welcome aboard!

Come on, hop aboard! Sit back and enjoy the ride. You're about to experience one couple's journey into retirement and the cruising lifestyle at sea and on land. Now, if you're thinkin' that we are a couple of hotshot sailors who were born near the water and had learned to sail before we could walk, think again. This gal didn't even know how to swim until she was in her early thirties. There will be more about that later. Let's just get this story rolling. What you are about to experience is a memoir of cruising the eastern third of the US and Canada, including some winters spent in the Bahamas. I've included just about anything that catches my fancy. Last, but not least, is our touring about in our Class B motorhome, a 210 Versatile Roadtrek. It stars me, of course, and my husband Michael (He is a saint as you will find out!). If you want to live vicariously or if you are just waiting for your time to come, check out this blog from time to time. No running aground, trimming sails or storms to run from - just enjoy!
